of Fame Banquet on October 9 was a spectacular event. The 2014 Hall of Fame

Families, friends, Atherton Hall of Famers, Atherton alumni, Atherton High
School administrators, teachers and students celebrated their induction into the
Hall of Fame. AHSAA president, Nick Gardner, delivered a history of the AHSAA
and Hall of Fame. Atherton High School and its principal, Dr. Thomas Aberli,
represented their World Languages department, The Aerial, The Torch and the
Marine Biology department. Dr. Aberli delivered “Atherton Today” remarks full of
impressive facts. The music for the evening was provided by the Atherton
Orchestra under the direction of Nelson Dougherty. A special feature was the
orchestra leading the singing of Onward, the alma mater. Everyone joined in! |
